@xSiFiGamer2016x No, it's just that the hardware is worth more than the price they sell it for, try for instance to assemble a PC with the very same specs. It's a marketing decision to keep the price of the console competitive, you finish paying for it when you buy games, basically. But, if they let you run the full Windows 10 on it, you wouldn't need to buy its own branded games anymore, and hence they'd be in loss.
