7 years later, I still play Minecraft
Well, I play it occasionally, but still. I've played many older games I used to play long ago, but Minecraft is one I've always come back to.
Idk why but I think I find Minecrafts almost storyless, basic as hell world really refreshing, when soooo many games these days are so damn intense.
Somehow ironically Minecraft is at both ends of the game scale, its an old, endessly cloned, game that has none of the depth of a modern game, yet also, no one has ever successfully recreated it, and there are few games that can ever really compete against it.
I understand why many are over it, but I think in some way itll always be there, loved by a small few
