Is 1080 the highest you can go with a graphics card?

CountScrofula · 41-45, M
You're asking the wrong question here. 1080 is just a model number, not a measure of the card's performance.

That said the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is probably the top card on the market. It's also the most expensive, and you can get something pretty great for much less.

If money is not an issue then sure, get that. Just make sure your power supply can handle it.

@CountScrofula You ain't getting nothing good for less as long as the crypto shit is still rampant.

@SW-User The idea that the only video card on the market worth buying is the top one available is silly. But I mean, it's a great card and totally worth it.
SW-User
@CountScrofula That is not what I said.

It's a toss between the GTX 1080 and RX Vega 64. The Vega 64 has a bit more raw power. Really it depends what you're building so AMD I'd go Vega as it has better xfire compatibility.

1080 of what?
PrettyTroubles · 26-30, F
That would be so pretty
SW-User
@PrettyTroubles And expensive. Don't forget expensive. But if you are too scared to make it watercooled just go with fans and don't overclock that much. No shame in that.

Never can go wrong with good cooling

the "ti" yes.

or you can take the titan xp, because that is the highest right now
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
depends on the card and the base system.

how far can they both coagulate.

No ..1081.5

Tbh, it depends. The Vega 64 gives it a run for its money.
