Have you ever given away something that meant nothing to you but a lot to someone else?

I gave the Elder Scrolls Anthology to my new housemate. I couldn't get into it so why not? He is one happy geek:

Him: "Do you know what you are giving me?"
Me: "Yes dude, its cool. You let me use your washing up powder."

He posted online to all his friends who say I am an awesome housemate and that they want to kidnap me. Maybe I am 'awesome' but maybe not. I just have 36 years of accumulating shit and I don't need all of it. I lent him The Watchman graphic novel too but I want that back LOL.

Get Watchmen back because that shit is amazing. Probably worth a re-read considering the superhero movie obsession nowadays.

But yeah, it's an important thing to recognize that one person's trash is another person's treasure. Not that a game you're not playing is trash, but you get the point. Kindness costs nothing and pays so much back in dividends.

@CaptainCanadia Yes but I am not quite kind enough to let him keep Watchmen. There are limits to my kindness. 😜

@Burnley123 As I said, get that one back :D

@Burnley123 there's kind, then there's self-sabotage :)

that's pretty awesome of you, B

I am pretty happy with my new housemates considering I did not know them prior to moving in. There is likable geeky guy, a football fan and a post-graduate politics student who is a socialist. This works for me.
