I Am For Gun Control

Another Mass Shooting today, a day after the one year anniversary of the horrendous mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas. 2016,2017,2018 and now 2019 are all years of mass shootings. Yet we are overly concerned with illegal immigrants. I agree that illegal immigrants coming in and committing crimes is horrible. But building a wall is not a national emergency! What we need to do is send more border control troops over there and strengthen enforcement. There are legal citizens that are committing crimes than the illegals. Guns are the problem and people are getting easy access to them because we turn a blind eye through the truth. Guns are the true National Emergency, not the wall. I will not waste my time to argue with you trump wall supporters out there. If not totally getting rid of guns, which will never happen sadly, actually strengthen and strictly enforce gun laws for the sake of the lives of the people in this country.

By dodging the mental health issue, all you're doing is showing that you really don't care about the school shootings, you're just anti-gun and you're pushing your ideological agenda.

Even the guy in your own example had a long history of mental health problems.

Deal with the real problem or nothing will get better.

@lizzy96 And that's the problem. You'd rather have enemies than fix the real problem because it's just ideology to you. That's pretty despicable to be honest.

@lizzy96 Wait, I may have misunderstood. Are you saying you don't want to argue and become enemies or that you'd rather be enemies than argue pointlessly?
lizzy96 · 26-30, F
@Sicarium I don't want to be an enemy with over guns. You see since we but can't change our views on guns it's going to pointless to keep arguing.

attack the guns not the fact they were used in an illegal manner in area where guns are illegal to have
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Make cocaine illegal. That will keep people from using it.

police have shot the victim of a home invasion in his own home

the victim could not shoot the invader themselves as per canadian law and as a result the police were called by the 17 year old victims grandmother who was home at the time, the police arrived and promptly gunned down the 29 year old invader and the boy at the same time while the boy was being assaulted, only the invader survived and was rushed to hospital on the taxpayers dime.

gun control is immoral and it costs innocent lives.

@xSharp so how are we to solve gun issues in schools?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@lizzy96 stop telling kids that fighting is wrong and teach them confidence, self reliance and how to defend themselves while they are young so as they are not driven to bitterness through constant humiliation day after day until they want to shoot everybody. people are told no to fight yet they do everything in their power to instigate one, it is unnatural to resist the natural male urge for competition, to try to be dominant among other males especially when belittled or slandered by them, but the bullied do not, because they will be punished for resisting the bully..

when our parents were children there were no video games, fighting was all they had and when they were bullied they were practically being invited to play and would become friends afterwards and would go off and fight other people just for fun, there were no school shootings back then..

a little violence every day directed at those who seek it prevents a large act of violence later on which affect many who just wanted to live their lives, its just another part of life, like going to the bathroom, we wish we didnt have to, but we would die if we didnt.

Illegal immigrants coming in isn't nearly as big a problem as illegal firearms coming OUT - TO MEXICO!....."A 2013 report by the University of San Diego says the number of firearms smuggled from the United States to Mexico was so significant that nearly half of American gun dealers rely on that business to stay afloat...On average, an estimated 253,000 firearms each year are purchased in the United States expressly to be sent to Mexico, the report said, the vast majority of the sales originating in the border states of California, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona." - Chicago Tribune, Sept 30, 2018..............
(Google: "As immigrants flow across the U.S. border, American guns go south")

It's a people issue, not a gun issue...
Moosepantspatty · 31-35, M
Fuck the wall, fuck the book club that gun owning has become, fuck gun control. Most importantly fuck these shit lawmakers for ruining the chances of anything ever happening bipartisanly.
lizzy96 · 26-30, F
@Moosepantspatty Republicans need to stop being so dammed prideful. They didn't let them Dem's pass the laws they wanted, and complain like a bunch of babies when their issues aren't passed
Moosepantspatty · 31-35, M
@lizzy96 I dont give a single care about what any Republican or Democrat wants, they're going to do nothing but complain that the other side wont let them have their way. Fuck the politicians.
