After an exceptionally long dry spell we're actually getting some much needed rain here this morning.

Always such a relief. I do love a rainy day now and then. A rainy night is even better, when I can fall asleep to the sound of it hitting the window.

Where I live, you won't hear any rain from May to October. We sure could use some now, though.

Here in Wales it's very unusual to go without any rain for as long as we have done recently.
