how stupid & gullible do you have to be, to fall for obvious marketing manipulation like that?

my parents got a ups unit 20 years ago that they are still using. its older then i am. mom has me lift it up when she is cleaning under the desk as it weighs 25 pounds. is a 650 va ups with a 12 amp hour battery and big heavy transformer inside it. old tech works just fine. they just replace the battery when it goes bad. the ups gets a lot of use as the power goes out a lot here.

Sometimes getting the latest is wasting money because they always bringing out better, over and over.

So its more about what you need. What specs is good for you now
