What was your first cellphone?

Mine was a Motorola C139 TracFone, back in 2007. No internet, no camera, and limited texting and minutes...lmao 😆.

First one was an analog Fox Mulder special. I don't remember the brand. The screen only displayed orange numbers. Didn't have texting capabilities, or if it did, I wasn't aware of it (texting wasn't really a thing back in those days). It had the car lighter charger, and it fit into the inside pocket of the black raincoat I used to wear when investigating allegedly haunted locations. Imagine trying to get pizza delivery to a cemetery!

never had one yet
@dubkebab Why in the world would I need internet at the store?
And as far as gps, I do it the old fashion way. Look at a map, and commit it to memory. Pretty simple. Plus I don't like the idea of all of my movements being tracked.

@TheSentinel Oh,I'm with you-on team NOcell.
I meant to reply to the kid above in the comments.
People are slaves to those things-and pay for the privilege.

@dubkebab I have mobile data which I can use if I can't get Wi-Fi. It actually works better than Wi-Fi.

Zoomer here. My first cellphone WAS a LG Rebel and still is. I never saw a point in upgrading when it was good enough. I replaced the stock Android apps with more lean ones, and it works like an absolute charm.

@Allelse Very portable and sleek.

I love it. Wish I had it.

@Beatbox34 And if some mugger tries to give you any trouble you can bash em over the head with it!!! Put em in a coma I reckon!!!
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@Allelse I wanted to say that. It's even more satisfying to do that.

1992, Motorola. Weighed about 20 bs and looked like a car battery. Motorola owned the business and lost it.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
Mine was a Mororola brick that supported calls only. No text. No Internet.

Circa 1997

It might have been Motorola; similar to this one. I got it in 1995 I think.

It was either a Nokia or an LG, I think. Perhaps you can tell:
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard The GSM was by Nokia, according to some research.
