How well do phone hotspots work to stream shows and movies on your tv?

Need cheap home internet.

Is it good idea to just add hotspot for an extra 20 bucks or so?

You will go over your data plan very quickly and have to pay a lot more than $20 per month.

You should check with all the internet providers in your area for their least expensive plan. Check also for fixed wireless internet providers.

With Verizon, the amount you pay for hotspot highspeed is used up by one or two movies.
