Is it worth it to get a phone plan with a mobile hotspot?

will internet with a mobile hotspot slow?

Currently pay 60 for internet but I still live at home so it's not that big a deal.
When I move, internet is an expense I'd like to cut.

Especially since I cant get internet for 10 dollars a month

Mobile data is very expensive. Unless you have an unlimited data plan, you could end up paying hundreds of $s in mobile charges.

@JoeyFoxx Yes, it's in the fine print as well. All of them throttle your speed down when you reach a certain usage, if you have the "unlimited" plan.

@JoeyFoxx yea I read that. If I had a phone that could cast video to my tv I could save things downloaded from like public WiFi, walmart etc then watch it at home...
Or I can just become a bookworm
