Since a similar device from Amazon works by the same principal, I can tell you that such devices can transmit both video and audio at the same time, also because it can mix both up quicker than you could notice, because the human perception is too slow to notice any differences there.

@scooogy so it can cast video to monitor and sound of that video came out from other blutooth speaker right? im worried if play video the picture and sound cannot cast to different device at same time because my pc monitor have no speaker, otherwise i had to buy a tv just because tv have buildin speaker.

@UsernameAlreadyInUse It should both get distributed by the receiver of the signal, which affords it to have speakers connected and eventually installed.

Nope! No speaker no sound. Casting goes right to your monitor from my understanding. Monitor can be any screen TV or monitor yet either have to be Bluetooth capable. Since my TV isn't Bluetooth capable it does me no good though.

@DeWayfarer so even when it connected to tv it only cast image no sound?

@UsernameAlreadyInUse no, the little Bluetooth device has to hook up to a USB port on the TV. If there's no USB port on the TV you can't hook it up. Now some newer TVs might actually have Bluetooth apart of the TV. Then you really don't need that device. Just some software on your cellphone.

If you're looking to split sound and video, the short answer is no you cannot. I went through the Android stack and the issue is that there is no Bluetooth profile to support this. When I wrote my own, I was at the mercy of the mobile provider, as this was a system level modification. Not allowed.

I would just use a bluetooth speaker personally.

@QueenOfZaun this device work like a wireless av cable that anable you to play whatever content on your phone project it to tv or monitor.

@UsernameAlreadyInUse Right but to get the sound you would need a speaker. The monitor won't play sound unless it has a built in speaker, which some monitors do. I would use a bluetooth speaker to play the sound while you cast the video.

That's a bit too advanced for me
