I would be impressed - though also envious because Maths was one of my weakest subjects so I could not have attained the technical career I'd once hoped for.

(Both science and engineering rely heavily on mathematics in almost all fields, though some much more so than others.)

Anyway I would be hypocritical to criticise you for that because I enjoy crosswords, even though some of their clues are so cryptic that when eventually reading the answers I fail to see the link or derivation!

I have a mug commemorating the 18C English mathematician George Green. Its artwork depicts a windmill (milling was the family business) and one of his equations or identities, evidently quoted from a learned paper or book he'd written.

Well, I know it's calculus: integrals even. Three-dimensional integrals too (it cites [i]dx dy dz[/i]) - maybe relating areas and volumes. It even has a "4pi" term on both sides... What it's really all about though, I haven't the foggiest!

From someone who hated Math - Respect! Keep doing it I read somewhere about a lady that maintained her memory intact at old age by working them neurons with math every day! I don't really like it but I may try to open the dreaded math books again some day. Perhaps not doing it for a grade will help xD

I enjoy math problems too. Im not very good and I don't do them often or for fun but when the need arrises I do enjoy solving them.

Not at all. Intelligence is a nice thing.

In fact, wish I had that love for math and the capability to pull it off. Would have made so many things I want to do so much easier.
