If science could prove definitely there was no god ....

Would you go on believing anyway?

The real question is, does God need our scientific validation using physics and chemistry to somehow unveil God to exist?

Or maybe: how can science deal with proving something unfathomable and completely out of the range of testability?
You can't prove a negative. It's up to religious people to prove god does exist.
@HeilHitler I can prove Jesus didn't turn water into wine.

just as science cannot prove you love someone or not, it cannot prove or challenge the existence of God as well

According to some Gods and religion were used to explain things that science couldn’t at the time. If that’s the case science especially physics still uses “Gods” so to speak to explain certain parts of theories. They can’t prove something doesn’t exist when they still depend on the concept.

I worship my cat. Because she makes me.

Proving a negative is almost impossible. Science cannot prove that dragons do not exist. But that said, I've already abandoned my belief in god over ten years ago

@HeilHitler which is interesting. I imagine money would be more useful to Bigfoot than to an omnipotent superbeing.

Believers will go on believing. Religion/Spirituality is about faith, not what can be proven/disproven.

The disproof would come from reason- not science.
