Have you ever heard of body memory?

A friend of mine received a liver after hers was destroyed by disease. Her attitude toward life changed immediately. Much nicer to be around. She said that she knows a woman that had a liver transplant. The liver came from a man. She didn't know that for several years but before she knew that she had a huge dislike for herself because when she looking in the mirror she saw a man looking back at her. Another man had a kidney transplant. A few weeks later he had a craving for lasagna. He had hated lasagna since he was a kid but he tried it and found he loved it. He later found out that the person who had donated the kidney loved lasagna.

i have heard of this phenomenon. i saw something on a talk show long ago. very similar story about a man who received an organ transplant and ended up taking on new traits of preferences he didn't understand until he met the family of the woman who made the donation at the time of her death. they said they recognized her in the things he said he was thinking and doing that were new to him. interesting stuff. like... cellular memory, or something.
