Do I need an atomic clock for precision?

No just tune to 5, 10, 15, and 20 megahertz on shortwave to WWV Fort Collins CO for universal time.... Can also get it on the internet..

@Virgo79 The screen time is ok, but with GPS Test you get time up to the second, compass, altimeter, speedometer, and sun location on an atlas, as well as how many satellites are in view, and where.

@Virgo79 It's really awesome. It is also international so you can switch from Imperial (American) to Metric.
For most people a $40 quartz watch made by Casio provides all the accuracy they need
