How often do you use your computer to actually compute something?

My budget

I use a spread sheet for finances and as a database to organize information on a number of subjects and projects. (MS EXCEL) I have used The computer for drafting plans for projects, and to develop suspension components with Autocad programs (putting parts in motion with simulation to test theory.) Have also used it for drawing plans for small building construction as well. I guess that is considered that computing as well, at least I do.

Big numbers. My calculator doesn't have the space for that many digits, so let's say I want to divide the world population by the number of acres of arable land available, I have to google the solution.

I use Excel regularly at work. At home my laptop is mostly used for web browsing and photo editing.

The calculator comes in handy every once in a while. 😅

I use Excel quite a bit for business reasons. I also use graphics programs, so I guess that's similar, too? Though it's more like drawing.
