is it crazy that cold is the natural state of the universe?

well probably not that crazy, but i think is more when you think about the fact that , to put it veerrryyyy simply, heat is literally just a chemical reaction, like yeah a desert is hot, but thats only because of heat emitted by the sun, i know im saying alot of "well no shit" things, but for me at least , its crazy to think that warmth isnt a state of something that just....is....you can never ever get heat without a complex machine, which generally seems to consist of using kinetic energy/ motion or turning food into energy/warmth.

Yep I know what you mean. Without complex systems, heat doesn’t exist. And that’s weird.

I also always found it strange that living beings perceive coldness as a POSITIVE perception, when in reality it’s a NEGATIVE concept. Like, we perceive the LACK of molecular motion as a PROSPERITY of coldness.
