What if mutations didn't exist?

Faust76 · 46-50, M
Mutations create the variation that natural selection works on, but in this thought experiment, the rest depends on what other beliefs are accepted into the thought experiment. If Adam & Eve, I guess we'd all be clones of Adam & Eve because Eve was cloned off Adam, and Adam made in image of a perfect being. If archaic hominids were allowed, that'd create some interesting results. But if starting from abiogenesis, it's pretty much dead end.

@Faust76 Did abiogenesis really happened? How did Alabamians and Tennesseans come from the same chemistry?

@Tennessee2
Did abiogenesis really happened?
well, there's life on Earth, so evidently it did...
Dan193 · 26-30, M
We all would've still been 1.50 m.
hertoy · 70-79, M
We'd still be amoebas.
Tennessee2 · 80-89, F
@hertoy Even Tennesseans?
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
We wouldn't be here. Only the most primitive forms of life would be here.
Tennessee2 · 80-89, F
@TeresaRudolph71 when did Alabamians and Tennesseans share a common ancestor?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Tennessee2 Umm, do you understand that Alabamians and Tennesseans are the same species?
Very simple, I guess
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
We'd all be a lot hairier
