Where did rh negative blood come from if evolution is real?

There's no monkeys or apes with rh negative blood?

The stupid in this thread is high, it burns!!!!

@Pherick Alabamians and Tennesseans do not share a common ancestor and never will share a common ancestor.
@Chattanooga wth is wrong with you?

Also, why is it so common in women? Both my sisters have a negative RH factor and require a shot when they got pregnant so they wouldn’t lose the baby
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@xixgun It’s not necessarily the case. A number of guys in the Army with me were Rh negative....but because women are the ones giving birth, the factor can be more problematic (and therefore publicized) than it is in men.
We do, however, know that the Rh negative factor is higher in certain groups of people (such as those in the Basque region of Spain) so there’s a definite genetic factor.

@DragonFruit Weird, my sisters have it but I don’t

I think this "Science and Technology" division needs re-naming...

"Alabama & Tennessee", perhaps?

Sometimes, I'm glad when in-jokes are too "in" for me.

The Human Rhesus positive factor only exists in humans and closely related apes, and 85% of humans are Rh positive. Rhesus monkeys, after whom the factor is named, have a similar gene factor in their blood....but it isn’t the same as the Human Rh factor. Are we even sure whether all apes and monkeys are Rh positive or lack the gene for Rh entirely?

rh negative blood is common in Alabama
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
The presence or absence of The negative blood in monkeys and apes is inconsequential to evolution. We do not descend from apes, we share a common ancestor. The mutation and spread of Rh negative blood may have occurred after the species split. In that event we would not expect to see it in apes.

@SW-User Alabamians and Tennesseans do not share a common ancestor.

@SW-User This is an internecine struggle between two groups of very closely related people. It reminds me of, e.g., the nonsense in the former Yugoslavia after the death of Tito/fall of Communism: ppl without much experience of a wider world have a "world" with a tiny radius, and tend to hang onto old wrongs, etc., real or imagined.

The "other"-ing of neighbors is typical, senseless, etc.

But trying to fight it...*shrug* A fool & his notions are almost never parted.
O negative...... no monkey here. LOL

I think evolution was meant as a joke which someone used to degrade people and eventually a smart guy saw how much money can come from that joke and now we got modern science...
Alabamiangods · 41-45, F
Alabamians are gods they have the rh negative blood type not linked to the kingdoms of life on earth or animals , 85 percent of Tennesseans are rh positive.
@Alabamiangods huh? wth is wrong with you?
