What is Google AdWords?

Any idea?

Companies pay to have traffic directed to their site. Sites like this one have ads in the margins and banners. Each time a user interacts and/or sees an ad the site gets a "referral fee". If you click and buy something they get an even bigger chunk of the pie. It is how many sites offer free memberships because they are getting their revenue from advertisers. It is a little more than that like they provide advertisers with analytical data including keywords that people in their demographic use or browsing data etc. It is all about advertisers getting the most traffic from each ad shown.

Idk if you google something it saves it to a list of stuff advertisers should show you on their sites? 😂😂
