Can a laptop be remote controlled?

I ask because i may get netflix and i will use my laptop to acess it and hook it to my tv via hdmi, i guess.
I know I'm not gonna want to get out the bed to press play, rewind etc on laptop so can they be remote controlled?🤔

Just use a mouse.

Just use a wireless mouse or your phone with a remote control software(like ZaZa on iOS) on your phone that needs both devices to be on the same network which basically works just like the mouse .

I used a wireless mouse for situations like this. You could see if bluetooth remotes are sold for laptops.

@Mikado Yeah you can use remote desktop but that just requires another computer. You can install netflix on a smartphone or tablet, try using that.

@SW-User nowhere to to put. Night stand too little. Like someone said just use a mouse
