How to turn off touch keyboard on my acer lap top?

Try this:

Open the Control Panel.
Go to Ease of Access

Go to Ease of Access Center

Click on Use the Computer without a Mouse or Keyboard

Make sure that the box next to "Use Onscreen Keyboard" is unchecked.

Click Save.

The Onscreen Keyboard should no longer start with Windows (you may need to restart for this to take effect).

go to settings and click every category until you see touch keyboard listed.

@mrmoose maybe you can turn off and then turn back on the device? this is something that i try with any device that doesn’t seem to be complying with the way i have set it up
