Cancer is basically mutated cells that reproduce extremely quickly and destroy healthy tissue, so yes, a fly can get cancer. However, flies don't live long enough to be able to die of cancer.
Yes. Anythings with cells can.
@GlitterBug That includes plants as well.

How would cancer affect a plant? @canusernamebemyusername
@GlitterBug Ever seen one that has growths on them? Or those really lumpy looking tomatoes? Those are essentially tumors.

I'm pretty sure any multi-cellular organism can get cancer aside from maybe a few weird exceptions.

they only live for 14 days so i doubt it
emptysoul44 · 41-45, M
They're really just maggots anyway
emptysoul44 · 41-45, M
Or are maggots really just flies?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
Yes, actually
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Could they die from that cancer or do they not live long enough? @HoraceGreenley
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@GlitterBug I don't think they live long enough to actually die from it
DDonde · 31-35, M
I think their lifespans are too short.
