People just need to move towards an education in robotics and computer technology. Until they become self aware, and capable of self maintenance, they will be dependent upon sentient biological life.

@puck61 Landscaping and building is where the money is right now. If you can do Koy ponds and waterfalls, etc etc, you can make a killing! If you can staple composite at the speed of light, you can make a killing. I personally think the intricate landscaping is the way to go because it appeals to the ego, and people love to express! It will be a long time before robots can do that!

Yes. Robots and AI will take away a lot of jobs
It's a good thing in the long run.

There really isn't any practical application for machine learning yet other than maybe cheat at poker tournaments or something.
At least in the near future machines won't replace us at work but rather work in tandem with us to make shit easier.

Then humans can be displaced to the tons of understaffed areas of work.

@SW-User healthcare is one of the areas automation is aimed at. Especially the diagnostic assistance. More nursing staff would be great, though I worry the extra people would diminish pay. Nurses are the hardest working people in healthcare and are already extremely undervalued in their pay.

@ViciDraco Um no. All those robotics? They don't work on their own. Humans control them.
SW-User
@ViciDraco But you're right. They don't want to pay us. Fuck the govt. Corrupt assholes.

Our economy is in the toilet. All of that high-tech crap will be gone in a few years. And good riddance.
It is already occurring.
