Does anyone here know how to fix a laptop that isn't receiving WiFi?

I googled a few things and not too sure about them.

Some older models have an actual wifi on and off switch on the case.. If no networks are showing it may have been knocked to the off position

Not being funny but it's not sitting there somewhere among your 'settings' waiting to be 'enabled' ?

Run network diagnostic. It will either fix the problem or tell you whats wrong.

The simplest fix is to restore computer to previous time,no guarantees but if it was working previously it's worth a try...

CHecked all exterior sliding buttons? I have a laptop that has three different ways to turn WiFi on and off, one of them on right side edge occasionally gets slipped off inmy soft case.

Can you see any networks at all when trying to connect?
@VolpeTredici The networks don't show at all

@HelterSkelter1 Have you made sure the adapter is enabled? Like in the control panel.

Re-install the driver if you have already tried the 'standard' attempts.
