Odd question here. I was wondering why does a stove have a self clean button. Push it and it get super hot. How does that clean it

Little people that live in the back of the stove come out and spray stuff on your dribbles that make them look like ash. That's what they eat, so keep being messy. LoL

It burns to ash things in your stove. It's hard on the stove, and may shorten the life of its components.

It burns the food spills to ash which you can then wipe clean with a damp cloth after it has cooled.
