Your window manager probably crashed; could be a memory issue, not sure. You can try to re-run explorer.exe in run to get back your ability to look at your filesystem. You can also verify if dwm.exe or "Desktop Window Manager" is running and how much resources it's currently using. If you logoff, and log back on that should fix it. You might want to run memtest or something to see if your memory has issues.

Task manager should be right, but I think you need to start explorer.exe. That might help.

Sounds like it has a bug in the system
morrgin · F
@smileylovesgaming I hope not.

@morrgin if it is a bug it will happen again. They do a lot of damage to any laptop desk top tablet even a cell phone. It will make it run harder. So it could over heat. Crash. Files can be destroyed. Settings changed.

Do a restart. By turning it off. I hope you didn`t have anything saved?

Did you turn it off and on?
morrgin · F
@JarJarBoom I only do that if I run out of options. It makes me feel like I've been defeated. I did it two days ago though.

@morrgin That should be the first thing to do....every IT person knows that.
