Do you know of a cheap internet service?

I am in the US. I need it mostly for school. I thought I could survive without home intenet by using public wifi (coffee shops, library etc) but it got really annoying really fast when you have to leave the house just to submitt an assignment or do a 5 minute timed quiz.

I've been using my phone to google this but don't see much. I don't want a contract.

Ask around. I have AT&T for my basic computer access. Switched to 'DIRECT' DISH T.V. You know you can use the Library Computers. Tho they charge your printouts per sheet.
AND if going to a LIBRARY, Know that most of the parents take their children there to type out their homework. Stay away from there most evenings.
What I would do to save time, is type it out using a USB and print it with a neighbors computer. Drop by ....a Wal-Mart and purchase blank paper and you're half way there. Might get lucky and ask an Employee if he/she could make a copy via your USB. Doubt it but worth a try.

@Carla1951 i have been using the library. Like I said, its a hassle when you're going purely to submitt. I can save all assignment instructions to my laptop and do my work at home but i have to submit with internet.

Most carriers are cheap if you are a new customer but require a contract I think
Have you looked into the box that gives you wifi everywhere ?

This link has low-income providers listed by state. You will have to disable AdBlock if you use it. Good luck.
