Here is a short poem I wrote while thinking about all my special girlfriends here.

Smaller in stature
Larger in pride
Carrying their burden
Silently hurtful cry

Mothers, sisters, cousins, wives
Girlfriends, nieces, fulfilled lives

Comforting souls
Feminine wiles
One look at their face
Satisfied smiles

Look to the future
Forget what has past
I'm so glad you're here
A new die has been cast

Sisters of the world
A new dawn arises
Cast off the weak image
Leadership realizes
