Can we find some common ground?

I was going to write a long story, but all I want to say is that I don't hate leftists. I get worked up sometimes and say things I regret, and I'm terrible about putting my foot in my mouth. I like corny old songs and I know some people can't stand this style of music, but Don Williams kind of sums up what I truly believe. Maybe you can suffer through it long enough to hear some of the words. This goes out to Rae first, and everyone else second.

Compromising with conformity drones is like sellling your sell soul to the devil. Sacrificing your mind to group thought. Giving up your right to think. How do you compromise with people who willingly bring themselves to self-annihilation and wish you to join them.

Conformity drones are not interested in other views, just stifling them. The evidence is right before all our eyes to see and ears to hear. When you fail to trust your own eyes and ears, you lose touch with reality and drift away into a land of fairytales which don't exist and never will.

A song is okay, it helps us escape reality, it softens the heart. But in the end we either face reality or lose our freedom.

No probably just listening to a song and reminiscing about the days of kumbaya around the campfire :) ...Reaching out to friends who have different political ideologies. We all need to get along with others. :)
