If it’s so contagious why not breath on the strip?
revenant · F
@MrBrownstone ahah excellent !
SW-User
@MrBrownstone Because you want to get as much as you can on t swab.
carolinehugz · 46-50, F
@NerdyPotato the worst thing is not the virus as such it's the way people now treat others if they step out of line for thinking the wrong thing which will be hard to shake off in years to come.its bad enough with politics being like this already but now even people like me are fed up with it.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Been tested every week since the damn thing became available.
At some considerable cost I might add.

The idiots conducting the tests don’t always get it right.
The idiots charged with ensuring tests reach the correct laboratory don’t always get it right.
Those supposedly analysing results more often than not send back an ‘unclear’ result which then means my insurance is invalid if I work without a ‘clear’ pass on my test result.

And the people inconvenienced more than anybody else are the people this bloody thing is supposed to protect !

I got tested once. But I said to them if you find any coke up my nose. I got dibs lol.
Nomoretomorrow · 46-50, M
I'm a Health Care Assistant in a dementia unit so get tested regularly. It does irritate in the nostrils and at the back of the throat but it's worth it to know I'm covid free and not a danger to the unit residents.

Not yet. Judging by how bad it's getting here I fear it's only a matter of time before I'll have to.
Allelse · 36-40, M
Nah but my hypochondriac of a wife was and surprise, surprise, she was healthy.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
No and not planning to get. I think I'd rather pay a fine if it will come to that.
SW-User
Nope. Why be tested if it's the worlds deadliest virus/disease I should know I have it. ;-)

Yes, and the swab is indeed very uncomfortable.

Not yet and I won't unless I'm really sick....
SW-User
Nope, not yet. I was really sick sometime in late 2019 so I might have the anti-bodies. Having said that I am still taking all the precautions. Might talk to my doc about the anit-body test though I know ti does not change anything.

I hope your test comes back negative.
SammyJo · 51-55, F

With the wife being a teacher we have both done it a couple of times...

Just had an antibody test when I donated blood
SW-User
@vetguy1991 I would think they would have to test for it. If you test positive for the antibodies does that mean a no go?
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
@SW-User they can still use your blood and also your plasma, if you test positive you were exposure to the virus
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
No and I don't intend to either. Stick the Branch Covidian up Trump's arse.
