THANK YOU SW.

When I joined SW many people messaged me about the need for the "block button" but I thought I would never use it. THINGS HAVE CHANGED LOL!!!!!

Thank you SW for this option, it makes the website so much better being able to block out what I don't want to see. Anyone else think they wouldn't use it but now do?
I blocked over 2k profiles.. I'm here too much and too much block happy

@MrsNel: I agree. Anything between adults that are consenting is OK but when those involved are mentally impaired or not able to consent I feel we need to protect them from predators.
*cringes.. Personally I think adults need to be protected too .. Sigh

@MrsNel: Some do I agree. The internet can be a wonderful tool but does need to be policed properly. Hopefully the SW admin will do this.

I've been using "mute" mainly to block the nonsensical spammers who inundate the boards. I haven't actually blocked anyone though.

@TreeHugger: you just click mute so you no longer see their posts, but you can still see their profile etc...

@Ambroseguy80: Oh ok cool. I don't really want to see anything to do with these people but thanks for the heads up 🙂

@TreeHugger: i agree if it's about sick sexual posters. If it's the spammers I give them a different level of scrutiny.

I have and used the report on some who were (in my opinion )too offensive. And it takes a lot to offend me

Takes a lot to offend me too but when a certain person that is no longer here (probably are under a new name) made me feel very ill with what they posted I started blocking.

I've used it since my first day here.
