Is my friend gone for good?

I had a friend I’ve enjoyed talking to on here for about a year and a half now. She had lots of pictures up. She’s had the purple X on her account a few times before, but last week her account suddenly sported a gold circle with a slash through it (does that symbol have a name?). I’ve never known her to have another account. Do you think she’ll be back?
