Why do people start arguments on here, then delete their posts when we challenge what they say?

@Moodswings I went out for a drink with a guy that was one of the teletubbies 2 years ago. Straight up. He's a friend of a friend who's birthday drinks it was. I was strictly told...do not mention the teletubbies..he hates it as he's a serious stand up comic these days.
So i did. Repeatedly.
