Are you thinking to do PhD on similar worlds?

I suppose a thesis could be written about social media in general. Considering all the bullshit degree programs that exist today, I would not be surprised if someone did.

@DesiDudeJ04 No one's going to give you a PhD for knowing about social media. Such a degree is given for things hard to learn, like science and medicine.
