Why do I keep seeing the "Fetish" tag on random, non-fetish posts?

I remember during one of EP’s ill-fated enhancements that words like “mother” and “mom” would automatically get flagged.

Because a lot of the posts are about fetish stuff but not marked as such.

And the posters think everyone else is too stupid to notice

because they kinda overdid it on the filters and tagged words that can be used in normal conversation as "fetish".

many tags are added by bots
they pick up on key words
some of my post that are non "adult " material
were upgraded to adult ,I never post anything a teen couldn't read
but at least this site cares about its members and "attempts " to do whats right
If they miss it sometimes ,I chalk it up to worth it
if mis marking one of my posts from time to time helps keep others safe from offensive materials

Glitch in the system. They don't seem concerned. I wrote a post about dogs that was tagged mildly adult. It's just interesting facts about dogs, nothing a preschooler couldn't handle.

Oh trust me there are fetishes where you wouldn't think lol
