What's this I hear about some guy leaving here due to a woman who lied to him?

How is that supposed to be fair? Why can't the liar be removed permanently from the site and then her victim can safely return? All liars should be permanently banned from the Internet, full stop.

Unfortunately, that’s why SW shouldn’t be treated as a dating site; there’s no way to vet people. And if SW can’t effectively verify male from female, married or coupled from single, minor from adult posters, how could they ever verify who was lying about anything else ? “Sic caveat emptor” certainly applies here, alas. 😒
