I wonder why theyre so many religions out there

Just to many to choose from and they all have a beginning and end and they all believe they are the true religion
So how would you know because most if not all religions copy each other when it come to scriptures and religious figures

Religion is the proof of God not existing.

Honestly I think religion is man made because you are worshipping the highest power who’s promising heaven and a life everlasting... so it’s like a gold digger, going after what is convenient. It’s just the blunt desire of self-preservation behind the facade of submissiveness. We wouldn’t go after someone with no power and who causes us more pain than please would we? Exactly. Self-preservation is what all is about. Seeking to avoid greater pain and satisfaction even in made-up fairytales of an afterlife that were made to boost up the ego and calm our fears of all we don’t know.

um, bullshit, unless you limit your definition of 'religions' to those emanating from the Middle-east. Show me where Buddhism or Shinto copied from Christianity, for instance.

As to why there are so many, well, everywhere humans lived, someone discovered that they could use this as a way to power and control for themselves, and made up some slick-sounding bullshit for that purpose.

That's a good question, and I think God is waaaaay over due to straighten all the madness out here in the "last days!" 🌏️☄️💥
If you are on a journey, there are a lot of different ways you can get to a specific point.

I don't subscribe to the 'one true religion' In fact, I don't subscribe to religion at all.

I do believe in God and I do feel God's power in my life.

Religions are a little like education. You can go to school for 20 years to learn or you can hole up in a library and learn just as much.

Belonging to a particular religion doesn't make you more or less holy. It's a way to make sure you study.

This basically sums it up how I feel about religion it's all man made

I admire the atheist religion. Seriously. I wish Christians had that much faith. It is staggering the absolute faith required to believe that everything, including all of us, are the result of a gigantic cosmic explosion and the resultant accidental mixing of random components. This is genuine faith and I wish mine were that strong.
Because people try to find something that they can believe in. Something to put their faith and their hopes into. The best gods are the most simple ones. They have been around since the beginning of time and still are. They are not created by man.
I suppose it was the spreading of people after the saga at Babel
