I've been blocked just because I didn't get someone's so-called "joke". Has this happened to you?

I have not been blocked, but I have been on the other side of that. I have posted things that I thought were gentle, friendly kidding but others read as attacks. I have posted things that were meant to be read as ironic jest, but people thought I was sincere. It has not happened often, but when it does, it is impossible to convince some people of my true motives. But I would never block anyone for not understanding my sense of humor.

@DrWatson This has happened to me as well. 😶It can be difficult to always know what people mean when we can't see facial expressions and emotion. Too bad some aren't mature enough to ask for clarification. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@BrookeBondage Okay but I've met creeps on here overly sensitive where they tell you off before they block you. One of them because I didn't reply back quick enough. Shit!

That happens to me all the time on here. Some people on here have no sense of humour and for some reason they think they are compensating for that by being offensive instead.

I wish I new why people block me. It usually happens without me knowing and I find out only days later, when I randomly see a "This message was deleted" with their tagged name replied to them.

Maybe, I don't know. I don't care if they block me. One less asshole for me to have to deal with.

I get blocked often or people quit. Are jokes really humorous? For some, they laugh at anything, for others, they think it's offensive. I think this is why I'm serious and even then I think that's why I'm not liked.

Not that I'm aware of, but probably. I've been blocked by many people here, most of whom I've had no interaction with whatsoever (at least none that I can remember). Oh well.

@Gingerbreadspice Or you might be sarcastic or joke about stuff that should be really obvious that it's a joke, that people usually don't actually think that, whatever it may be. But they take it literally, and then u never hear from them again.
