Sw needs channels
Where we can go and be with like minded people. Or at least the interesting ones...

Oh I notice the "Customize Feed" options are there again, I thought they were gone earlier... but regardless, if you start filtering, it'll be pretty empty, which is why I think SW doesn't really support it.
I'm bit confused though because I thought there were a lot of category choices when I signed up. And I already forgot if we could limit posts to them before. But yeah, I pretty much think they forced us to see everything because otherwise it would be empty, but that backfired and now everybody's left :p

I would rather just a keyword filter. So I don't have to keep muting folks who might have good comments

@Callmewhatyouwill If you had a keyword filter, you wouldn't know who the creeps are though... but yeah, I guess most of us just don't look into those corners anyway, so it's almost like a keyword filter. Just debating this with myself, because it'd be a fairly easy browser addon (for those who can use them, lol).
It's days like this that I wish I could just hide a specific threat entirely to fit more of the interesting stuff in the feed though. Keywords have another problem: The so-called Scunthorpe problem, when something innocent, including some real names, triggers the keyword. Maybe a user reputation based filter that lets one also see who the creeps are?
Like 100% times someone posts something that sounds off, you click on their profile and it's full of creepy stuff, but there's dozens of people swooning over their post. o.O
Ideas of actual channel or gender-separated chats sound weird though, go on Discord or something like that if you really want exclusive clubs? The creeps will just catfish-crash the party here, and it's kinda like why even be on SW if only interested in private channels.
