What if nobody on SW is a real person?

If you haven’t met somebody IRL, how can you ever know they are real?

Update: I’m home from work sick and this is the kind of weird, science-fictiony thing I sometimes think about. How do we know what is real? What is human consciousness? I can be a philosopher at times, ha ha!

Over time you will know. Genuine people have a very special quality about them that can not be mistaken. They are consistent and their story never changes. They are faithful to the truth.

@SweetMae I know I am real I don’t care what others think as far as me being real or not they can call me a fake all they want , sometimes there’s no way to make poeple believe your real and not just some troll or fishing but whatevs I don’t really care whether they think I’m fake or not , I’m as real as it gets my profile should tell you I’m real but poeple will believe what they want to so it’s not up to me it’s up to them to make that judgment call I’m not gonna try to make someone believe something when they already have thier mind set on something , then it just becomes a mute point.

I trust my judgment way more than that. The people I have come to know over time, they are real.
The people I have not gotten to know at a personal level, doesn't matter to me if they're real or not.

We can’t really know, but I guess we just have to say “is it real to us.” I sometimes wonder if I’m the only being in existence, and did I make this virtual reality so not to be alone. How about that for a storyline? It’s from Hindu, I think. The creator divides itself up into the many to experience everything, and makes itself forget who it is.

I think that the fake people are easy to spot. But I don't think anyone on SW would be 100% the same in person as they are when they are online. I think most of us come here for an escape of some sort.
