Did everyone on SW get a notice today telling us about data saving and having to consent to it?

Pretty much every website that processes user data has to do similar to all their EEA/EU users.

If you use Google, Facebook and others, you also got updates like that, where you had to consent.

@Nuno Thanks for explaining, Nuno. It's just that I wasn't expecting it, that's all. I've been on this site for two years and it was the first time I had that. I just wondered if everyone had the same notice, that's all.

By the way, what difference does EEA/EU make? It's a website, not a geographical consensus.
