Help.. Please show me how to delete my downloded photos, so I can do more of them..

How can I delete some/many of the photo's that I've uploaded as my recent photos, so I'll have room for others? I realize that they will disappear from my posts..
I just cannot see/find the way to do this..
Can you please give me a step-by-step procedure?
