I Am Creative

I'm not sure that "creative" is the right word.

I've always been interested in the whole concept of the third world war, especially as it applies to the Cold War. As a result, I've always considered the games that I design to be an extension of that interest. Initially, my ideas were focused on things going terribly wrong during the Cuban Missile Crisis, but have since learned how great the disparity of nuclear arms between the US and USSR was at the time: the USSR had around 100, and the US closer to 2000, some of which were within striking distance of Moscow. If war did happen then, it would have to be either a limited nuclear/completely conventional war, otherwise the USSR isn't walking away as anything other than an irradiated wasteland; the same goes for Eastern Europe and possibly China too. I've also considered setting it later, but the same level of 'brinksmanship' present in 1962 isn't there so it's sort of difficult unless you invent an international incident.

I don't know. I guess I'm feeling..... underwhelmed with my "creativity" here. Then again, I tend to be underwhelming in general.

@SW-User sorry,
SW-User
not that uncreative; maybe just not putting the whole NK/US crisis within historical context?
SW-User
@SW-User I'm not even going to ask.....
SW-User
@SW-User How the Russians and the US kept up the Cold War for respectively their own political purposes, or what would happen now if Trump was in charge during that time?
SW-User
@SW-User Either.
