I Believe In Love

Some say, the moment a child is born, the mother is born also. What happened to that woman, who existed without knowing this unconditional love, I often wonder. The Love of protections without any limitations and conditions, above the kindness, cherishment, and honor feeling for her child. Her sons, her daughters came to her through her heart, the rest, through the door. Regardless, how her kids treat her or what they do to her, she loves them, unconditionally, forever. Even this difficult journey she has taken, which is impossible to return, she always makes it possible.

I would say this is true of me also. The day my daughter was born was the day I finally had purpose in life. It's 22 years ago but I can still recall the euphoria of becoming a Father.
I've never ever taken it for granted.
Wonderful words from you.

@samueltyler2: In our house as the kids grew I was the nurturer.
I got up in the nights for feeds and changing.
I put them to bed at night and read stories etc.
If they fell and hurt themselves it was generally me they ran to.
My wife is a good mother but not as maternal as others I know.
She has an ok but frosty relationship with our daughter and I know she is envious of other women we know that have very close bonds with their daughters.

So sad for her. I certainly helped a lot. I tried to be home early enough to see the kids at dinner.

Early on I was a stay at home dad running my business from home while my wife worked 4 days. I was always home for dinner and did the daily running around.
We are a close loving family but probably not stereotypical.

What a beautiful sentiment, My Lady. It celebrates both the timelessness of motherhood and the great joy of Easter!

Only a woman can ever experience this.
