I Believe In Love

Jealousy is when you fear what you might find in their packets.
To witness jealousy is most times amusing.

How are you?

To come to think of it, actually, you are right. Yes. This emotion is absolutely beyond me. Some say, it is the exact opposite of love. I am not sure If I can agree with this statement. I think, being jealous is something that just hurts us and we want to know why.

I am well, and you? :-)
@MyLady am doing fine and counting my blessings. Thanks for asking, friend.

Jealousy doesn't hurt. It rather kills the sensibilities. It is a useless feeling that just pollutes those minds where it can willingly and readily play havoc.

The root cause of jealousy is a lack of self esteem..
Love - if open and transparent - builds self esteem..

It is not always true. For if you know the truth. Some simply can't believe what they have found out about those who are in love with. Self-esteem is this evaluation of who you are and if you feel worth it. That has nothing to do with a person you love so deeply who has hurt you beyond any understanding of yours. Love does not hurt. People do.

@MyLady I agree with you that PEOPLE HURT, and that love does not hurt. Love heals...
I do feel, from my own experiences in life & love, that they better you feel about yourself (self-esteem), the larger the amount of forgiveness you have to give to that hurting partner.
When you are strong - in your self-worth - you can stand back and be objective about a hurtful relationship and see your own good & bad, and their good & bad..
Then you can think about changes and future paths that can be good for both.. Sometimes that is walking/running away for your own protection and growth..
Sometimes you cannot save your lover.. They just are not ready for change and you cannot live with the continuous hurting that they inflict..

Been there / done that...
