I Have a Bedtime

The girls in my boarding house have a night time routine. At 8:30 they pack away their day things, go to the bathroom (and have a shower if they have not had one that day), brush their teeth and get changed into their pyjamas. From 9:00 it is settling down time, when they get into bed and talk quietly or read a book. Lights go out at 9:30. This helps them to get at least 9 hours sleep, which is important for a growing girl.

Katya and I supervise the routine and sometimes we read a story to the whole dorm. We have no fixed bedtime, but we need the sleep too so we are normally in bed fairly soon afterwards 😌
