I Love Turkey

During Thanksgiving, I just had one wing from the turkey and I was golden, lol. Hell, a portion of the wing was nearly the size of a chicken leg! But this made me think: why aren’t turkey wings more of a thing? You hear about chicken wings all the time but never turkey wings... 🤔

Chickens are more prevalent than turkeys, are smaller and mature in less time....so, they are easier and more profitable to raise and market.
Turkeys have larger wings, which is also not a great selling point as far as being a party/bar favorite. While turkey meat is not forgotten, and is enjoyed all year, turkey is generally not a fast food specialty and turkey wings aren’t more of a thing largely because turkeys are larger.
