I Am Christian

I find that Christians often glibly describe an "atheist position" as believing nothing happened to nothing for a long time until it became something.
My question to you is why do you assume that an atheist should think that in the beginning there was nothing?
Why should we assume there was nothing? That nothing is the default position which something must replace?

Atheism isn't believing that nothing happened before something. It's simply not believing in a god. Simples

@RippinKlouds: Wrong! The Book was written before Man was created. Not literally. However pick up a bible and just read a few lines. It was NOT written by MANKIND.

@Carla1951: You've just proved RippinKlouds' point. :)

It's called a straw man argument. They make up an argument they think they can refute then attribute it to Atheists.

Why should you assume anything

I wasnt, im saying youre assuming. Theres no evidence for either, but even less so for theism. Ive never met anyone who would fall at a seven on Dawkins scale anyway.
