I Am Christian

I am a Christian but I am struggling. I feel lost and alone, and my faith is failing.

I just said a prayer for you to regain your strength and faith. You may feel lost and alone. But you are not. Jesus knows where you are and He is right near you now.

@greenmountaingal yes that is so true, hang on in there

It happens. Rest, reflect, and don't let any "well meaning" sob try and take your faith; however small it may be.

Christians get depressed too. I hope you feel better soon.

It is through the darkness, we often find Him. It seems every dark period has graced me with something beautiful, even when my soul was straying. He also tests a chosen few because he has seen strength in them. So many Christians feel their perfect lives are because they've done better deeds than those who suffer. That's not how I see it, for some; the beauty is found in Heaven's reward. At least, these are a few of my humble feelings.💜

The whole point of the Christian faith is Grace. Everyone who chooses faith struggles. I’m sure part of feeling alone is a fear to tell those in your circle of believers that you are having doubts. People fear judgement from those close to them so they don’t share honestly. I envy you to do so. I think you would be surprised at the empathy and support.

No comments needed, just for reference that may help. It never hurts to offer anything....

Did something happen to make it fail? Like I know many people deal with sickness or death and that causes problems.

@canusernamebemyusername going from high school to college has been hard. I think it was easier when I had close friends around. I still believe, but I just feel so empty all the time, everything feels so pointless.

Why are you a Christian?
